Directions: If you are on Highway 417 (the Queensway), take the Metcalfe exit, no. 119.

You can see the museum from the highway look for a "castle" on the north side. If you are heading west, it will be on your right, and if you are heading east, it will be on your left.

Parking is available on the Canadian Museum of Nature grounds see map

Metered street parking and private parking lots are also available nearby.

Museum hours for the general public on Sunday, December 5, 2010 are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please note that should you arrive prior to 1:00 p.m., you will be charged admission.

EuchreFest

6th ANNUAL EUCHRE FEST 2010

Duane and his team cordially invite you to enjoy an informal evening of Euchre in a tournament format.

For all of you Euchre enthusiasts this will be a fun night of cards, refreshments and best of all, a chance to win fabulous prizes!!

Again, all are welcome whether you know the game or not, but if you are a beginner, practice up, because the competition is fierce.

Our last year's winner Jim Perrier will surely be back to defend his title, as well as many title contenders from the past!!

The rules are simple, the evening will be enjoyable and all are welcome, but space is limited to the first 16 respondents.

So please reply back to Nancy ASAP as the spots will fill. We will be sending all participants the rules of the evening and allowing you to practice on your own before-hand.

  • exit highway #416 at Hunt Club Road (west)
  • at the top of the off ramp turn right
  • the Lone Star Ranch is approximately 1km on the left hand side
  • if you reach Moodie Drive, you have gone too far

From Northbound Highway #416 (ie. from Manotick, Kemptville etc.) :

  • exit at Hunt Club Road (west)
  • at stop sign turn right onto Cedarview
  • at traffic light merge right onto West Hunt Club
  • the Lone Star Ranch is approximately 1km on the left hand side
  • if you reach Moodie Drive, you have gone too far
